Royal Caribbean Cruises Posts Upbeat Earnings, Joins Brighthouse Financial, Invesco, Boeing And Other Big Stocks Moving Higher On Tuesday

U.S. stocks were mixed, with the Dow Jones index falling around 0.1% on Tuesday.

Shares of Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. (NYSE:RCL) gained 6.2% to $251.48 following a fourth-quarter EPS beat.

Adjusted EBITDA for the quarter was $1.09 billion, with a margin of 29.2%. Adjusted EPS of $1.63 beat the consensus estimate of $1.50. The cruise operator reported fourth-quarter sales growth of 12.9% year-on-year to $3.761 billion, marginally missing the analyst consensus estimate of $3.765 billion.

Royal Caribbean Cruises shares climbed 6.2% to $251.48 on Tuesday.

  • Crane Company (NYSE:CR) shares gained 7.6% to $168.34 following fourth-quarter results.
  • Akero Therapeutics, Inc. (NASDAQ:AKRO) rose 7.5% to $55.61. Akero Therapeutics announced a proposed public offering of common stock. Canaccord Genuity analyst Edward Nash maintained Akero Therapeutics with a Buy and raised the price target from $56 to $73, while Citigroup analyst Jonathan Woo maintained the stock with a Buy and raised the price target from $65 to $80.
  • Atlas Energy Solutions Inc. (NYSE:AESI) gained 7% to $26.42. RBC Capital analyst Keith Mackey maintained Atlas Energy Solutions with an Outperform and raised the price target from $27 to $28.
  • Invesco Ltd. (NYSE:IVZ) rose 7% to $18.99 following strong quarterly results.
  • Victoria’s Secret & Co. (NYSE:VSCO) gained 5% to $39.19. Barclays analyst Adrienne Yih upgraded Victoria’s Secret from Equal-Weight to Overweight and raised the price target from $51 to $53.
  • The Boeing Company (NYSE:BA) rose 4.2% to $182.44 following fourth-quarter results.
